GAMES AND THE PROCEDURES APPLICABLE TO EACH

Closest to the Hole. On Holes #11 and #!3 the winner is the player who's first ball landed on the green and is closest to the hole. Measure from the edge of the hole to the edge of the golf ball.

Hole in One. If during regular Wednesday competition an Active Member makes a hole in one, the club pays him $100 in addition to any closest to the hole award.

Individual Games

Best Nine. Select between the front or back 9 and put that down as your gross score. Subtract 1/2 your CH handicap and put that down as your gross score. Keep your individual gross score for all holes as your score will be posted.

Throw Out One Hole per Side. Keep your individual gross score for all holes as your score will be posted and total the gross score. From the gross score, select one hole on each sided and subtract the total scores on those two hole and your CH handicap to
arrive at you net score.

Four Club. Players may only carry and use the same four clubs for the entire round. Low net score wins.

Stableford. Unlike most games, the highest total score wins. Scored hole by hole using a player's Course Handicap (CH). The value of each hole is as follows: Net bogey is 1 point, Net par is 2 points, Net birdie is 3 points, Net eagle 4 points Net double eagle 5 points. Total your hole scores. High score wins.

Putts. Count all strokes taken once the ball is on the putting green, keeping track hole by hole separately from any other game being played. Two place paid out to players with the lowest number of putts.

Team Games

Best Ball. In a best ball format, each player on a team of 2 to 4 plays their own ball for the entire round. After each hole, only the lowest individual net score among the teammates counts as the team score for that hole. The scores of all players are kept hole
by hole. Circle the gross score of the player whose score is used and write his net score, using his TEAM handicap, on a line below the team as the team score. Handicaps are taken as the holes are played. If you don't have a partner, you will be matched with
another player and if none a partner will be picked using a blind draw. The team with the lowest net score for the 18 holes wins.

Scramble. In our scramble format, teams typically consist of two to four players. Eachplayer hits their tee shot on every hole, and the team then selects, subject to thelimitations that follow, the best shot to play from for the next stroke. For a 2 manscramble a minimum of 7 tee shots of each player must be used; 4 man - 4 tee shots; 3man – 5 tee shots. This process continues until the ball is holed. You may lift, ,clean &place 1 club length, no nearer hole, from the shot selected. If the shot selected is in therough, you must play from the rough even if 1 club length might get you to the fairway. If in a hazard or bunker it can not be moved out of the hazard or bunker. Nor can it beused to put a ball on the green if it lies elsewhere. When the ball is on the green, mark itso that each person putts from where the ball came to rest. Scores of 3 man teams willbe adjusted up 4 strokes if they are in a flight of 2 man teams or down 4 strokes if in aflight of 4 man teams. The average of the TEAM handicap of all players is deductedfrom the gross score to arrive at the net score. Cards shall show all teams and; show teesplayed; handicaps for each player; and show the gross and net score.

Shamble. A shamble is a hybrid tournament that is part scramble, part best ball. Eachplayer tees off like a scramble but things change once the best tee shot is selected. Theball can be lifted, cleaned and places just like in a scramble, but then each golfer playstheir own ball, where it lies, for the rest of the hole. The team score for that hole is thescore of the player with the lowest individual net score using his TEAM handicap. Aswith Best Ball, handicaps are taken hole by hole. Circle the gross score of the playerwhose score is used. Minimum number of drives required of each player are just like a Scramble as is the requirement to designate whose drive was used. Add the net scoresfor the 18 holes for the total team score. If a three man team is flighted with 2 man teamswe will add two strokes to the three man team score.
